I went to a concert tonight at The Mercury Lounge in New York City. I have been dying to see one of Kelly’s shows after having drinks with her OVER TWO years ago! I own one of her albums and have given it to many clients as well, but have never seen her live. I really had no idea I was going to fall in love with her music. She is like one of those people who is way prettier in person——they take amazing pictures but in person blow you away. Like Diane Sawyer I always thought she was a pretty lady but in person she is STUNNING. That is how I feel about Kelly’s music—- her music live is a wonderful surprise. Her albums are great—-but live she is killer and blows you away. A super sad day for the world today— two pieces of our childhood if you are my age are now gone. How sad and true that bright lights burn out too quickly. Thanks for the inspiration Michael for the music I danced to again and again and again and still will. And Farrah thanks for being a symbol of natural sexuality and goddess like beauty that inspired us to leave the hair brush alone and drop the make up. Your courageous battle inspired us all, and showed off your true beauty that never faded over the years and never will.
